The beginning of my career was probably when I graduated from cosmetology school in December 2005. Nevertheless, it wasn't until 2008 when I worked on my first film that my life changed dramatically. It is with the utmost joy and gratitude that I joined the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, commonly called the IATSE. My passion for filmmaking will always be part of my DNA, but the hours are long and sometimes it feels as if I have to sacrifice too much.

Some years ago, I was pleasantly surprised to discover bridal hair, and I suddenly had a new passion. Those who know me know that means immersing myself in everything related to my latest passion. In short, this new passion quickly led me to team up with Clare and build our own brand that speaks to who we are individually and together.

Wedding hair of my dreams!!
Alissa is pure magic!!! I hired her to do my bridal hair and couldn’t be happier with my decision. Alissa was absolutely fantastic the entire day and my hair was PERFECT! She was very professional and has the best calming and positive energy that radiates around her, which is so essential on your wedding day. I did a trial run a couple months before and Alissa was very receptive to what I was looking for and was more than willing to try multiple styles which helped to ease my nerves leading up to the big day. I left my trial with zero doubt that I would feel beautiful! She showed up on time the morning of and fully prepared. We did two different hair styles, one for the ceremony and one for the reception. Alissa accompanied me the whole day, throughout pictures and pre-ceremony celebrations to ensure my hair was always on point. There was not a moment that went by that she wasn’t looking out to make sure I was flawless for every snapshot. She was able to complete my second hair style, an updo, so quickly in between the ceremony and reception, I didn’t miss a single moment and she allowed me to have a second look, adding to the magic of the night. My hair lasted all day and night and I got SO many compliments from my wedding guests. You need Alissa as your hair stylist for your wedding day or event!! Thank you so much Alissa, you made me feel absolutely gorgeous!!!
